Homeschool Clay Classes - Fall Season (3 Sessions)

Children will use fine and gross motor skills to pinch, roll, and mold clay. Class materials included in the cost: 1-2 pounds of stoneware clay fired in my studio kiln, glazes, access to real potter's tools, and additional supplies as needed. 

CLASS NOTES - PLEASE READ: 

This is not a drop-off class. Feel free to join in claymaking by registering the whole family! This class is most suited to children ages 8 and up (younger ages need parental supervision and assistance and should not disrupt class). 

Pieces will be formed in the first hour and brush painted with glaze in the second hour. Time is needed to slow-dry the clay creations. Please allow approximately 3 weeks for drying/firing prior to pickup at my studio. Due to the nature of clay art, and despite our best efforts, breakage can happen. I cannot guarantee perfection. Pieces can also be picked up at the following month's class.
